The Tehachapi Sportsman Club (TSC) was organized to promote conservation of wildlife and preserve second amendment rights.
The TSC hosts a number of activities during the year, including:
- Informal Target Practice
- Club Organized Rifle and Pistol Shoots
- Youth Programs for Shotgun and Rifle
- Organized Shotgun Events
- CMP Sanctioned Shoots
- Boy Scout Merit Badge Workshop
- Scholarship Award Essay Contests
The Tehachapi Sportsman Club (TSC) is located about seven miles east of Tehachapi.
, travel on the CA-14 North through Mojave to Highway 58 West. Take Hwy-58 west for 15 miles and exit at Sand Canyon Road (Exit 156) and turn right at end of off-ramp. Turn left at Tehachapi Boulevard (frontage road) and turn right at Sand Canyon Road. Take Sand Canyon Road north for 0.6 miles to the TSC Club Gate, located on the left hand side.
, travel east on Highway 58. Pass the Tehachapi exits and take the Sand Canyon Road (Exit 156). Turn left at end of off-ramp and pass under the freeway. Turn left at Tehachapi Boulevard (frontage road) and turn right at Sand Canyon Road. Take Sand Canyon Road north for 0.6 miles to the TSC Club Gate, located on the left hand side.
The range is open Sunday through Saturday, a ½ hour after sunrise to ½ hour before sunset (excluding club activities).
